Multi-Skilled Electrician
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum
Location: South Wales & Surrounding Areas
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Electrician to join an established Estates and Facilities team, covering a portfolio of sites across South Wales and surrounding areas, with travel towards Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with a strong background in electrical maintenance, installation, testing and fault finding, who is also confident carrying out general building maintenance across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing and remedial works.
- Complete electrical testing and certification, including EICRs, EICs and Minor Works Certificates.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to electrical systems.
- Deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
- Undertake general building maintenance and multi-skilled duties as required.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations, health and safety requirements and relevant standards.
- Complete documentation, risk assessments and electrical certification accurately.
- Provide a professional and customer-focused service across all sites.
- Participate in an on‑call rota, with additional payments provided.
Requirements
- Relevant Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and testing.
- Ability to complete electrical certification, including EICRs, EICs and Minor Works Certificates.
- Previous experience within facilities management, estates or building maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- General building maintenance knowledge and experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage workloads and travel between sites.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.
- Experience across additional building services or construction trades.
