Mobile Combustion Engineer (Greater London & Home Counties)

Our client is seeking a Mobile Combustion Engineer for the Greater London and Home Counties area. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain Boiler/Combustion Services and building services equipment in designated areas.
- Perform PPM and Reactive Works as per Helpdesk instructions within the Commercial Gas contract.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Report to the line manager on all actions and contract-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with client ISO 9001, 14001, and OSHAS 18001 protocols.
- Follow best practices for maintenance, including planned and reactive tasks.
- Carry out regulatory activities in line with company standards.
- Maintain plant and equipment for reliable operation.
- Complete work orders and meet SLAs and maintenance schedules.
- Perform diagnostics and plan remedial work.
- Identify spare parts needs and notify Helpdesk.
- Fulfill contractual obligations for Commercial Gas.
- Complete and submit maintenance and work sheets.
- Provide engineering solutions and suggest improvements.
- Conduct risk assessments and promote safety culture.
- Report incidents as per procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
- Prioritize health and safety, report accidents or near misses.
- Assist in health and safety procedures.
- Use PPE as required.
- Follow safe handling procedures for COSHH items.
- Report health issues during work.
- Use work equipment properly and ensure staff training.
- Do not interfere with safety equipment.
- Maintain proactive staff and customer relations.
- Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Qualifications:
- CCN1 – Core domestic gas safety
- CENWAT – Domestic boilers and hot water heaters
- MET1 – Domestic gas meters up to 6m³
- CPA1 – Combustion performance analysis
- HTR1 – Domestic open, balanced, and fan flue gas fires & wall heaters
- COCN1 / CODNCO1 – Commercial gas safety or changeover
- ICPN1 – Commercial pipework installation
- CIGA1 – Commercial heating appliances
- HWB1 – Gas fired hot water boilers 15-40kW
- TPCP1A – Testing & purging of low-pressure commercial pipework
