A highly successful womenswear supplier, design led, requires an Established/Senior Garment Technologist specialising in soft separates and a small amount of soft tailoring, using jersey and woven fabrics. This is an exciting role for a dynamic individual who would like to progress their career.

Working very closely with the Design and Production team, this position will involve:

  • Working on design-led womenswear collections multiproduct
  • Working in a small team, reporting to the Head Garment Technologist
  • Responsible for own accounts
  • Developing garments with designers and customers from first fit to final sealer
  • Setting up workbooks for each development sample to be fitted
  • Attending fit meetings with the designer and customer, correctly processing all resulting information
  • Forming good working relationships with customers
  • Fully understanding customer fit notes and communicating/actioning with the internal team
  • Measuring samples to create, amend and update fully graded specs using customer workbooks
  • Preparing production packs for the factory
