The Company is a successful, established design-led supplier to most of the trend-led retailers on the high street, including online brands. Specialising in womenswear fashions on soft separates, dresses, and woven items.
My client requires a CAD Creative & Technical Pattern Cutter to work on the Optitex System. They will consider Gerber/Lectra/Vetigraph users and cross-train.
The Candidate
- Must have the right to work in this country
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Optitex would be an advantage but not essential
- Good knowledge of CAD, i.e., Gerber/Lectra/Vetigraph pattern cutting systems
- Used to working in a high volume & fast-paced environment
- Must have an eye for detail, current trends & garment construction knowledge
- Good communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Copes well under pressure
- Excellent IT skills
The Role
The company is moving onto Optitex. This is an exciting and challenging role for a highly motivated individual who would like to progress their career within this company based in London.
Responsibilities include:
- Working on key accounts for young fast fashion
- Creating first patterns from sketches
- Amending all patterns throughout the fit stage
- Organising and prioritising work schedules to tight deadlines
