A successful, established, busy women's wear fashion supplier, whose clients include some of the most successful fashion clothing retailers, requires a grader to work on the Vetigraph system. They are happy to cross-train from another CAD programme.
The Role:
- Working in-house on the Vetigraph system (cross-training will be available).
- To grade patterns and produce in line with the production critical path.
- To produce markers in the most accurate and cost-effective manner in line with the production critical path.
- On confirmation of sealed sample, grade patterns.
- Prioritise styles for grading in line with production plan/issue.
- Liaising with the factories.
- Accountable for correct grades being sent to the factory.
- Some pattern amendments.
- Pattern digitising and creating production spec sheets.
The Candidate:
- Must have at least two years working as a grader in a clothing/fashion company.
- Preferably on a CAD system but cross-training on the Vetigraph system will be given to experienced graders.
- Organised, methodical, and able to multi-task.
- Understands the fundamental rules of pattern cutting (women's clothing), balance, re-blocking.
- Good eye for details.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Team player, people person with good communication skills (spoken & written).
