Warehouse Supervisor – Stock Experience Essential
Warehouse Supervisor – Stock Allocation, Wakefield WF3 4BY, 39.83 hrs on average Monday to Friday 0600 – 1400 plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 0700 – 13.30, £32,786.65 per annum.
We’re looking for an experienced Stock Allocation Supervisor to join our Wakefield Depot. This role is crucial in ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and that we exceed our customers’ expectations. Advanced Excel skills are essential, as you will be responsible for creating complex dashboards, performing detailed data analysis, and generating reports to optimize stock allocation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Data analysis, developing strategies for automation, and project planning to drive operational efficiency and optimize warehouse processes.
- Monitor and drive depot KPIs related to quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate order picking, effective stock rotation (FEFO), and secure handling of products, including credit returns and controlled drugs.
- Generate detailed reports to ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Train warehouse employees on data-driven decision-making processes, leveraging Excel tools to enhance their operational capabilities and support the induction and ongoing training of warehouse employees.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proven background in stock control and data analysis.
- An understanding of laws and regulations relating to Health & Safety.
- Leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Well organized and self-driven.
