Transport Team Lead – Cardiff
Hours: 55.5 hours, Monday to Friday 4:30am – 3pm, Saturdays 4:30am – 10am (some flexibility required).
Salary: £12.98 per hour.
The heart of the role:
- Coordinating, prioritising and delegating transport activities.
- Management of staff hours, sickness, holidays to help ensure no detriment to operations.
- Motivate and develop staff to maximise productivity and efficiency.
- Check, load and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes utilising Asset Tracking Devices.
- Ensure products are transported under correct conditions, maintaining temperature, cleanliness and security.
- Carry out all required safety checks on allocated vehicle and equipment.
What makes you tick:
- Full Driving Licence, valid in the UK.
- Proven multi‑drop driving experience.
- Attention to detail.

- Ability to prioritise own workload.
Physical requirements: stand and walk for majority of shift, lift products up to 15kg, bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
