Transport Team Lead – Cardiff

Hours: 55.5 hours, Monday to Friday 4:30am – 3pm, Saturdays 4:30am – 10am (some flexibility required).

Salary: £12.98 per hour.

The heart of the role:

  • Coordinating, prioritising and delegating transport activities.
  • Management of staff hours, sickness, holidays to help ensure no detriment to operations.
  • Motivate and develop staff to maximise productivity and efficiency.
  • Check, load and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes utilising Asset Tracking Devices.
  • Ensure products are transported under correct conditions, maintaining temperature, cleanliness and security.
  • Carry out all required safety checks on allocated vehicle and equipment.

What makes you tick:

  • Full Driving Licence, valid in the UK.
  • Proven multi‑drop driving experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.

Physical requirements: stand and walk for majority of shift, lift products up to 15kg, bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
