The Role
The role holder will work as part of a busy Distribution Centre in Birmingham with key responsibilities including leading an efficient distribution operation which meets the needs of our customers by providing a reliable service. The role holder will use all available resources to minimise cost and maximise profit within legal and regulatory guidelines. In the absence of the Depot Manager, you will on occasion be deputising for this post both in relation to transport and distribution related duties. In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift products up to 15kg, bend, twist, kneel and crouch.
Qualifications
You will come to this role with proven work experience in delivery driving and team leader or supervisory experience. You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English alongside being well-organised, having excellent communication and leadership skills and a good level of knowledge in relation to Health and Safety. If you come with an IOSH, First Aid and Fire Marshall qualification this would be a bonus.

Hours and Working Pattern
42.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day with Saturday 5 hours per day.
