Multi‑drop Delivery Driver – St Albans
We’re looking for a Multi‑drop Delivery Driver to join our St Albans Depot. In this role you will be vital in delivering life‑saving medications to those in your community. The position requires an average of 52.5 hours per week over a 17‑week referencing period, working Monday to Friday for 9.5 hours a day, with 5 hours on a Saturday. The base rate is £13.45 per hour plus regional supplements totalling approximately £13.77–£14.97.
Responsibilities
- Check, load, and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes using Asset Tracking Devices.
- Ensure products are transported under correct conditions, maintaining temperature, cleanliness, and security.
- Represent the company professionally as a visible face to customers and the public.
- Carry out all required safety checks on your allocated vehicle and equipment.
- Stand and walk for the majority of your shift, and lift items up to 15kg, bend, twist, kneel, and crouch as needed.
Qualifications
- Full Driving Licence, valid in the UK.
- Proven multi‑drop driving experience.
- Experience using hand‑held devices for proof of delivery.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise own workload.
