Role Overview: As the OTC Trading Manager, you will be responsible for driving category budgets on sales, margin, cash profit, and central income. You will manage supplier relationships, ensuring market-leading product ranges, pricing, promotional strategies, and supply strategies. Your goal is to exceed annual targets and deliver exceptional service to our retail and wholesale customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute OTC strategic plans.
- Achieve sales, margin, and funding growth through effective promotional planning, pricing, and merchandising.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to generate incremental funding income.
- Deliver a balanced promotional program across retail and wholesale channels.
- Monitor and report on market performance to help define OTC strategy.
- Support internal teams to meet service levels and deadlines.
- Coach and guide OTC Development Managers to achieve business objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in marketing and category management within the fast-moving retail sector.
- Proven track record with OTC manufacturers or in driving OTC categories in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and financial awareness.
- Excellent supplier management skills and the ability to handle complex relationships.
- Knowledge of retail buying, FMCG, and consumer & wholesale supply chains.
