The predicted salary is between 28000 - 30000 £ per year.

Wakefield, 39.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 10am-6pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays working 6am-1pm. £13.55 per hour.

We are looking for a Team Lead to come join our Wakefield Depot. In this role you will be the link between the supervisors and warehouse staff providing immediate hands-on leadership and supervision ensuring maximum effort and attention to detail in a safe and tidy environment.

The heart of the role:

  • Coordinating, prioritising, and delegating Transport activities.
  • Management of staff hours, sickness, holidays to help ensure no detriment to operations.
  • To motivate and develop staff to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Check, load, and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes utilising Asset Tracking Devices.
  • Ensure products are transported under correct conditions, maintaining temperature, cleanliness, and security.
  • Carry out all required safety checks on your allocated vehicle and equipment.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
