Weβre looking for a Warehouse Operative to come join our Birmingham Depot. In this role you will be helping support your local communityβs health needs by delivering a high-quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacies, GPs, and hospitals.
We are seeking a dependable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our team in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role starts as a 0-hour flexible agreement with the opportunity to become a full-time position for the right person.
Role Responsibilities:
- Receive deliveries, validate journey temperatures, and check goods using an asset tracking device.
- Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely to unload, move, and store goods.
- Sort deliveries accurately into allocated van routes for efficient and timely dispatch.
- Prepare and dispatch customer orders in line with Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- Check, log, and place all incoming stock into inventory accurately.
- Support overall warehouse operations, maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance procedures.
Key skills and qualifications
- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
- Experience in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical, or food preferred).
- Able to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and safety.
- Strong team player with a reliable and positive attitude.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
