We're looking for a Cash Reconciliation Associate to join our Treasury team, ensuring that cash transactions across our nationwide pharmacy network are accurately reconciled every day. What you'll be doing
As a Cash Reconciliation Associate, you'll be responsible for ensuring daily sales and banking activity is accurately reconciled across our pharmacy network. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll investigate discrepancies, provide support to branches and help maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reconciling electronic and cash banking transactions accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Investigating and resolving cash differences and reporting any suspected fraudulent activity.
- Reviewing branch till results and ensuring accurate cash reporting.
- Supporting pharmacy teams with cash handling, banking processes and reconciliation queries.
- Managing G4S cash collection reconciliations and resolving banking issues.
- Contributing to internal and external audit requirements.
- Managing your own workload effectively to ensure all reconciliation deadlines are achieved.
What we're looking for
- Previous high volume cash reconciliation experience.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Great communication skills with a collaborative approach.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Experience of cash handling, till cashing up or cash collection processes would be advantageous but isn't essential.
