Are you passionate about continuous improvement and driving meaningful change? We’re looking for a Retail LEAN Expert to lead and evolve our Retail LEAN programme, embedding LEAN principles across our business and helping shape the future of how we operate. This is a key role working closely with senior leaders, influencing strategy, and delivering practical, measurable improvements across retail operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and governing the Retail LEAN programme from design through to delivery
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to set and achieve continuous improvement goals
- Identifying and delivering LEAN improvement opportunities across the retail estate
- Coaching and supporting teams in LEAN tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping and problem-solving methodologies
- Developing LEAN training materials and building internal capability
- Tracking performance, metrics and benefits to ensure sustained improvement
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience applying LEAN principles in a live operational environment
- Background in retail, warehouse or pharmaceutical environments
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing people and leading change initiatives
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) or equivalent
- IOSH qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desirable:
- LEAN / Six Sigma / 5S qualifications
- Experience working to KPIs and operational targets
- Knowledge of Phoenix quality management systems
