Contract type: Employee - Permanent

37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. Some flexibility required to meet depot needs. Competitive salary negotiable dependant upon experience, inclusive of bonus package and company car.

We are looking for an experienced Depot Manager to lead our pharmaceutical distribution operation in our East Kilbride Depot. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance, improving productivity, and delivering a high-quality, compliant service to customers. You will lead and inspire teams, optimise operational efficiency, and play an important role in shaping a high-performing depot culture.

The heart of the role:

  • Lead and manage all depot operations, ensuring efficient order processing, picking, and distribution performance.
  • Drive productivity improvements, control costs, and deliver against operational targets and KPIs.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop depot teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, quality, health & safety, and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.

  • Proven experience managing operations within a pharmaceutical wholesale or regulated distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of GDP, regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical distribution processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and influencing skills with a results-driven mindset.
