Join to apply for the General Services Assistant role at Phoenix MCT. This 18–hour per day, 7 days a week position supports a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Shift pattern: early 7:00‑1:00, late 1:00‑7:00, long day 7:00‑7:00.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of the establishment in accordance with Quality Control Standards.
- Receipt and check goods, reporting any errors promptly.
- Assist with stock control and marking in the absence of the Senior GSA.
- Safeguard all keys and equipment issued during your duties.
- Move and change oxygen cylinders as required.
- Report breakdowns and security issues, adhering to Trust policies.
- Support kitchen duties and portering tasks as trained and requested.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and COSHH requirements.
- Provide courteous and helpful service to colleagues, patients, and visitors, respecting dignity and privacy at all times.
