Band 4 Therapy Support Worker based at Helston Community Hospital in Cornwall. The role is full‑time (37.5 h per week) and permanent, with a salary range of £27,485–£30,162 per annum.
Main Duties
- Plan and deliver occupational therapy interventions on the ward and in the community, including individual and group sessions.
- Carry out assessments, monitor progress and evaluate outcomes under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support 24‑hour rehabilitation and encourage patients and carers to regain and maintain independence.
- Provide lone‑worker support, record patient progress and raise concerns to senior staff as required.

Experience
- Substantial previous work as a Therapy Support Worker in a similar setting.
- Experience across hospital and community therapy/carer environments.

- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Recent health‑focused study (desirable).
Skills and Aptitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including working with patients who have communication difficulties.
