Job Overview
This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.
Main duties of the job
- Promote the highest standards of care to all service users.
- Undertake venepuncture.
- Manage Central Venous Catheters in line with trust policy and procedures.
- Involved in the development and implementation of new services.
- Undertake intravenous infusions as per local and national guidelines.
- Undertake blood transfusions and administration of other blood products.
- Actively support the flow of outpatient clinics.
- Be competent in clinical skills such as spirometry and visual acuities/visual fields.
- Support the learning of students and colleagues.
- Participate in link nurse roles.
