*Job description*
Hello! We are Phoenix Homecare and Support. We are a family run company who is big enough to cope, but small enough to care. Our role is to help the people we care for to fulfil their wishes of remaining comfortable within their own homes, instead of going into a care home or hospital.
*No two days are the same. A typical day working at Phoenix would include;*
* Providing any assistance support to the elderly in their own homes that they may require
* Helping to support to make meals and drinks for those who struggle to make their own at various times
* You may be required to provide personal care which could include helping someone into the shower, assisting with dressing and ensuring they look their best for the day!
* General light house-keeping, including cleaning and laundry
* Assisting or reminding your client with their medication
* Assisting with day to day tasks so your clients can stay independent in their home.
* Providing good company and combating loneliness, and doing activities such as reading, knitting, gardening, playing cards, board games. Having a good chat over a cup of tea
* Accompanying people to go to appointments or going shopping.
*Due to the nature of the role, Candidates must be aged 18+. Please be aware \\*We do not offer sponsorships\\**
We believe in being fully transparent and do not hide our pay rates.
After probation rate (Within 3 months) *we pay £14.70ph Weekdays / £15.30ph Weekends to all carers.*
During your Probation period we pay *£14.20ph Weekdays / £14.60ph Weekends.*
We also offer QCF training following probation.
Additionally on top of your pay rate you will *earn mileage on top of your pay rate and 5.6 weeks of holiday entitlement.*

*Free MOT\'s *- We will pay for your annual car MOT for your vehicle at a specified garage
*QCF in Health and Social Care:* Free QCF qualifications with enrolment within your first 3 months and in-house mentoring available.

You will be offered additional training covering Dementia Care, Palliative Care, Assessing and Planning Care Needs, First Aid at Work and Much More. In addition we offer City and Guilds Qualifications:
* Health and Social Care QCF training in house offered with in house assessor - Level 2 and Level 3 - Face to Face assessments, in house observations.
* Health and Social Care QCF Level 4 and 5 also offered inhouse for Management.
* Please ask about the QCF at your interview.
