Based out of either Runcorn Depot (WA7 3DJ), Birmingham Depot (B46 1DA), or Wakefield Depot (WF3 4BY). 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend and evening work to offer flexibility required for specialist projects. £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, dependant on experience. The heart of the role
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of automation and technical projects within our pharmaceutical automated distribution centres.
- Analyse and troubleshoot technical projects to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
- Ensure effective integration, maintenance, and optimization of automation systems to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with the National Systems Team to support the successful deployment of technology solutions across UK distribution centres.
- Provide ongoing support for automation projects, maintaining a high level of technical performance across operations.

- Proven track record in delivering automation and technical projects, ideally within the pharmaceutical or logistics industry.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and supporting multi-site operations.
- Strong understanding of automation technologies (e.g., automated storage/retrieval systems, conveyor systems, robotics) and integration with IT systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Automation, or related field.
