Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Uckfield at Phoenix Health Hub. The reception will support daily operations by delivering high-quality, patient-centered services, contributing to a positive and professional environment. Responsibilities may include interacting with patients in person and by phone, managing appointments and records, supporting clinicians with administrative and practical tasks, and helping coordinate multidisciplinary care. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, following clinic procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement in patient experience and clinic efficiency. Collaboration with the wider team is expected to ensure that individuals and families receive timely, respectful, and effective care.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, inclusive, and professional support to a diverse patient population.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in handling records and clinic procedures.
- Clear and confident communication skills, including the ability to explain information, respond to queries, and work effectively with clinical and non-clinical team members.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and practice management systems; willingness to learn clinic-specific software and processes.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, wellness, or customer-facing environment is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full time in uckfield , contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team culture with avalibilty to work 2 saturadays per month and occasional shift cover
- Relevant education or training in health, administration, or a related field is an advantage.
