Exciting opportunity at Cotswold Practice. Phoenix Health Group is looking for a half-time partner (4 sessions) to join our happy and thriving practice in Cirencester. Main duties of the job:
- The successful candidate will jointly be responsible for one of our patient lists, working alongside another part-time GP Partner on opposite days.
- We pride ourselves on our continuity of care and together, they will be responsible for providing high standards of care to their patients.
- Our daily rotas combine a mixture of routine and acute appointments, with acute presentations being shared with our Urgent Care Practitioners.
- The successful candidate will also be jointly responsible for the admin associated with their list, including prescriptions, letters and pathology.
- The team supports each other during absence by sharing out cover and we have a team of Salaried GPs who cover absent Partner workload during planned absence.

- Our patients come from a varied demographic, a mix of urban, rural and University general practice.
- We use SystmOne.
- Monthly PLTs for support, daily clinical coffee for the whole team, Friday Partners lunches.
- Our in-house specialities include minor surgery, dermoscopy, LARC fitting, specialist menopause and women's health clinic, joint injections, acupuncture.

Job responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will share one of our 10 patient lists with another Partner, providing high standards of care to their patients.
- They will also be a GP Partner alongside 12 others and be assigned certain clinical lead areas and non-clinical responsibilities.
- These could include particular areas of interest or be areas that the candidate is keen to develop in.
- The candidate will need to be available for additional meetings, including Monday Clinical Meetings and monthly face-to-face Partnership meetings.
- Flexibility, a warm and friendly approach and the ability to work in a busy environment will be essential.
Person Specification:
- Qualified GP, registered with the GMC.
- Experience of working in Primary Care.
