  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Location: Edinburgh (hybrid – office 2 days per week, flexibly remote)
  • Flexible working: Part‑time, job‑share and other flex options are available.

  • Salary & Benefits: £45k – £60k base + 16% bonus (up to 32% of salary), private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension scheme, life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3 volunteering days per year and more.

Role Overview

As a Telephone Account Manager you will drive business growth across the investment proposition by meeting with financial advisers in a specified region. Your primary goal is to exceed national and business centre targets for our pension and investment products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with and regularly meet advisers via telephone and virtual media to build, maintain and develop relationships.
  • Achieve targeted business activity – meet targets, identify business needs, present our value proposition and follow up within agreed time‑frames; keep client records current.
  • Contribute to the production of regional business plans and target a panel of advisory firms to surpass national and business centre targets.
  • Analyse business plans and use panel and sales MI to drive actions.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven high‑achiever with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to build rapport with advisers virtually and face‑to‑face.
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous record keeping.
  • Analytical mindset – able to interpret business data and adjust plans accordingly.
