Ready to shape the future of retirement in the UK? We’re looking for a Product Lead with deep expertise in retirement planning, Smoothed Managed Funds and product governance to lead the evolution of our smoothed fund proposition. In our Business Development and Origination division, you’ll manage our existing smoothed funds in market, and help design and deliver the next generation of solutions that support customers on their journey to and through retirement.
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Hybrid role with a requirement to be in our London or Birmingham office from time to time.
Flexible working: All roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

The Role: You will have responsibility for the end to end management of our smoothed fund solutions, ensuring they continue to behave as expected and meet the commitments we have made to our customers. You will support the delivery of the wider business strategy and commercial objectives for our smoothed funds, in particular working closely with the Distribution team. As we develop solutions for new opportunities and partnerships you will lead the development of these to ensure successful implementation, navigating both internal and external processes and governance requirements for launch.
What are we looking for?
- A technical and commercially focused proposition lead, with experience in retirement planning and smoothed fund propositions.
- A candidate who can assimilate complex and detailed technical information to present in a clear, understandable and persuasive way for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Someone who can work collaboratively with other proposition teams and wider business areas to ensure that the proposition meets customer needs and supports the business objectives.
- A proposition lead who ensures Propositions continue to deliver on all promises made to customers, deliver good customer outcomes, operate in line with definitions and remain suitable for target markets.
- A person with the ability to lead a team of people across multiple activities at one time to achieve business objectives and manage own workload and the activity of others.
