The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Location: This role will be based in London with time spent at home and in the office (3 days).

Flexible working: All roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

The Product Control team is part of Retirement Solutions & Asset Management Commercial Finance team and is responsible for ensuring fair valuation of assets and detecting off-market, inappropriate or fraudulent trading through analysis of change. A key part of the role is supporting production of daily analysis of movements in the asset portfolio valuations, using pricing and risk information sourced from the Aladdin and Beacon platforms and reviewing output with Middle Office and the Front Office trading teams. The role will support the planned expansion in volume and complexity of directly executed and managed assets across the Group.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in Asset Management or Investment Banking, in particular end-to-end knowledge of fixed income and derivative product lifecycle and valuation e.g. bonds, interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, equity options and futures.
  • Financial or numerical education background e.g. Maths, Statistics, Science, Economics, Finance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to provide clear and succinct communication of results to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Diligent working style with attention to detail and high standards for quality / capability of working to strict deadlines to identify incorrect trades, assumptions and/or processing.
  • Strong Excel and Power BI skills and working knowledge of Aladdin and Bloomberg.
