Context
Our Investment Operations team are responsible for the administration of around 2,000 unit-linked and with-profits funds with over 9,000 pricing series linked to them. Our roles vary from oversight of fund accounting and unit pricing, placement of trades and the maintenance of customer facing data for our funds.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for someone with the relevant experience and qualifications to join our Fund Data Oversight team. You will support the team with processing fund changes that have an impact on ReAssure policyholder funds, ensuring that all associated activities are actioned in a timely manner and that the company are compliant with FCA COBs rules. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to determine the required actions and coordinate change through to completion. In addition, you will support the team in maintaining Static Fund Data, processing/analysis of Asset Allocation info and calculation of Fund Distributions.
The team work to strict deadlines which are often set by external market activities, therefore you will be able to work flexibly with your colleagues to ensure our actions are delivered successfully. You will be an organised and dependable member of the team, able to play a key part in the monitoring of actions and management of risks and controls that we are responsible for.
Key Responsibilities
- Fund Changes– coordinating change to ReAssure policyholder funds in response to internal and market led events. Delivering change by the appropriate deadline and ensuring that the company remain compliant with the FCA COBs rules.
- Static Fund Data– maintenance of static fund data, ensuring accuracy as it is applied within fund pricing and externally shared. You will provide oversight of the charge taken from each policyholder series taking account any applicable product terms.
- Asset Allocation– calculation and reporting of fund asset allocation for use in industry sector benchmarks and customer fund factsheets.
- Risk and Control– support the on-going delivery of robust, effective and efficient operational, finance processes and controls.
- Fund Distribution– calculation and processing of periodic fund distributions for both Unit Linked and With-Profit funds.
- Customer Queries– responding to queries raised by the Customer Service team.
Minimum Requirements
Experience / Knowledge (Essential)
- Experience within Financial Services industry preferably in investment fund operations with understanding of Unit Linked and With-Profit funds.
- Experience with dealing with corporate actions.
- Accounting and Investment Operations-related qualifications
- Experience using Morningstar direct and /or IWT
- Proficient MS Excel user with experience with macros.
