b Overview /b p In this Private Markets role within Standard Life’s Real Assets team, you will help originate, analyse and manage investments across Infrastructure, Asset-Backed Lending, Real Estate Debt and related strategies. You will work with experienced investors and transaction specialists to support end-to-end investment activity and portfolio performance, contributing to the evolution of the Real Assets proposition. You will operate in a dynamic, cross-functional environment delivering impactful investment outcomes. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li bonus /li li private medical cover /li li 38 days annual leave /li li pension /li li 12x salary life assurance /li li career breaks /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Analyse and assess private markets investment opportunities, including transaction structuring, risk assessment and financial modelling /li li Support sourcing, execution and ongoing management of investments across Structured Credit and wider Private Markets strategies /li li Conduct credit and relative value analysis to identify attractive opportunities and improve portfolio returns /li li Build and maintain cash flow models and investment recommendations for decision-making /li li Assist in negotiating commercial, financial and legal terms to optimise risk-adjusted outcomes /li li Partner with internal and external stakeholders to progress transactions through approval and execution /li li Monitor portfolio performance, emerging risks and covenant compliance, supporting asset management and restructuring as needed /li li Contribute to strategic initiatives, market research and investment insights to expand investment capabilities /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience in an investment role with exposure to Private debt and Structured Credit/Mortgage investments (Mortgage Solutions, Equity Release Mortgages, Securitisations including ABS/CLO, Asset-Backed Finance and/or Insured Credit) /li li Track record of high-quality delivery and ability to manage multiple workstreams /li li Experience in self-directed roles with prioritisation and stakeholder management /li li Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with Intex and/or VBA advantageous /li li Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and pace /li /ul ul li Curiosity and willingness to learn /li li Proactivity and initiative /li li Collaborative and adaptable /li li Excel /li li Word /li li PowerPoint /li /ul
