The predicted salary is between 65000 - 80000 £ per year.
Location: Edinburgh, Birmingham or London on a hybrid basis, with normally a minimum of 2 days a week working in the office and the rest working at home. There will be occasional travel expected to our other offices.

Salary and benefits: £65,000 to £80,000 depending on experience, plus an indicative bonus range of 16% to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more.

The role: As an Internal Audit Manager, primarily facing into Retirement Solutions and Asset Management, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to Standard Life by challenging the effectiveness of the risk, governance and control environment. You will help provide influential insight through the work you deliver. You will work across a portfolio of audits and ad-hoc projects over a variety of areas aligned to the group’s strategy and core customer purpose and execute each audit end to end to agreed timelines. You will also manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

What are we looking for?
- Previous Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Assurance, Controls Assurance or Sarbanes Oxley experience desired within a Financial Services organisation, preferably Asset Management.
- Knowledge of the markets, sustainability trends, competitors, products, services, trends, impacting forces and factors, that make up the Asset Management industry.
- Experience of using data analytics in continuous monitoring and audit testing.
- A professional qualification (e.g., Chartered / Certified Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Internal Auditor) is preferred but not essential.
