We’re looking for an Investment Operations Technical Analyst to join our Box Management & Trading team within Policyholder Operations, part of our RS&AM function. Location: This role will be based in our Edinburgh office. The team spend 3 core days in the office and 2 days working flexibly from home or in the office, per week, depending on business needs.

The role offers a meaningful opportunity to join our Box Management & Trading team and play a supportive part in helping us deliver clarity and confidence for our customers. You’ll contribute to the daily oversight of 3rd party box management processes, daily exception handling, trade adjustments and regular provision of Management Information.
Working closely with both internal colleagues and external partners, you’ll help to ensure that on a daily basis company exposure is within agreed tolerances. You’ll also support the team by maintaining Static Fund Data, contributing to the processing and analysis of Asset Allocation information, and monitoring 3rd party completion of any changes requested.

Key Responsibilities- Box Management Oversight – Collaborating with colleagues and 3rd parties to ensure daily box management oversight checks are completed in a timely manner. Executing good judgement where required and escalating as appropriate.
- Asset Allocation – Assisting with the provision of updated Asset Allocation parameters to 3rd parties and monitoring the execution of these.
- Regular Reporting – Prepare monthly reporting packs (such as box profit/loss and trade size/volume).
- Risk and Control – Contributing to strong, effective and dependable operational and financial controls. You’ll help maintain processes that support good decision‑making and protect our customers and our business.
- Customer queries – Providing clear and supportive responses to queries raised by the Customer Service team, helping ensure customers receive the information they need.
- Established experience within the Financial Services industry, preferably in investment fund operations, with a solid understanding of Unit Linked and With‑Profit funds.
- Strong experience in working in Box Management or NAV production/oversight supporting accurate, timely operational delivery.
- Recognised qualifications in Accounting or Investment Operations-related (preferred).
- Experience of trade processing systems (EMX/Calastone).
- Advanced capability in MS Excel, including working with macros, and a collaborative approach to solving problems and sharing insight.
