The role: We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Standard Life as an Implementation Manager to join our Workplace Distribution Implementation team. Strong project governance is key, and you will be responsible for the management and tracking of risks and issues with aim to prevent any negative impact on delivery timescales. This is a client facing role and you will be a key participant at client site visits and ‘beauty parades’, responsible for presenting a clear view of the planned implementation journey to the client, to help to secure new business or to retain existing clients.
What we are looking for:
- Financial services knowledge in workplace pensions along with experience of working with multiple external advisers and clients.
- The ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of product propositions and specifications.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence at both the external and internal environments by creating positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives.
- Proven success in managing and prioritising multiple projects concurrently with different deliverable dates. Being able to organise, multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate information, ideas, plans, requests and opinions to internal and external stakeholders through a range of channels including written and oral. Deliver regular communications across all stakeholders including the client to support project delivery.
