The role:

  • Manage and coordinate delivery activities of a large BI estate, ensuring that development work is prioritised effectively and completed to the required quality, timelines, and architectural standards.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for automation and optimisation, ensuring solutions align to data architecture principles and best practice within the strategic data platform.
  • Lead and develop a diverse team, supporting capability-building and upskilling aligned to modern data technologies and practices.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Change, P&S, and IT to prioritise demands, manage supply, and ensure BI capabilities evolve in line with organisational needs.
  • Support risk management, governance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across the BI landscape.
  • Support delivery throughout periods of significant organisational or technological change, maintaining operational stability.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience leading BI, MI, or data delivery teams (including permanent and contingent staff), with a strong track record of coaching and capability development.
  • Strong knowledge of organisational BI/reporting tools and technologies such as Power BI, Databricks, SAS, and Cognos Analytics, plus an understanding of the Group’s long‑term BI and data technology roadmap.

  • Ability to collaborate and influence effectively across all levels of the organisation, building trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Understanding of the Group’s policy migration strategy—particularly TTP3—with demonstrable experience maintaining operational delivery during major change.

We want to hire the whole version of you. We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.
