Overview
We have an incredible opportunity to join Commercial Partnerships team as a Commercial Partnerships Analyst.
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (3 months)
Location: Hybrid, this role will be based from our Edinburgh office with time spent working from home and in the office.

The role
The Commercial Partnerships team is responsible for the management of c. £60m of spend across a varied supplier base. This supports RS&AM and wider Group functions, in delivering strategy and customer outcomes. The role will be fast paced and varied, with a great opportunity to learn on the job and deepen knowledge across RS&AM processes and supplier landscape.
Role Context
- Support Asset Management Commercial Partnerships operating model, by:
- Acting as escalation point for internal customers and Supplier counterparts on day to day, business critical queries
- Assist in invoice validation, providing input to budget and financial tracking to Relationship Management colleagues.
- Support and coordinate Management Information production for COO, and various internal forums
- Coordinate KPI validation ahead of Governance meetings
- Build relationship & supplier management skills with attendance at various Governance forums and internal stakeholder meetings.
- Support management of Supplier errors through to closure, including update to internal risk system and ensuring appropriate remediation and corrective action where relevant
Key Responsibilities
Service Relationship Management
- Support the management of the strategic and operational service relationships between Phoenix Group and its OSPs
- Advocate for the team to ensure key internal stakeholders follow the agreed engagement model with Suppliers, escalation process, etc.
Governance
- Gain a strong understanding of Phoenix Third Party Management framework, relevant to the supplier categorisation and type – support any changes and rollout across the team
- Support annual due diligence and supplier risk assurance activities across Supplier base
- Support quarterly control assessments, ensuring effective and timely updates, working closely with Business Controls teams as required
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Phoenix Group
- Implement and maintain stakeholder heatmap for team use
- Effective use of team SharePoint, to ensure wider team informed and aware of traction on key actions, status updates, etc.
What are we looking for?
- Proven analytical skills with experience of interpretating data and identifying trends with a view to coordinate action for improvement
- Risk management experience to support our framework and standards
- Demonstrated experience of proficiently using Microsoft Office applications to produce internal reporting and support analysis
- Strong experience in Service and Relationship management for the benefit of stakeholders and customers, in a fast paced and dynamic environment to deliver the best in class supplier management
