Who are we? We’re Standard Life, a retirement specialist focused entirely on retirement savings and income. We champion the belief that everyone’s journey to and through retirement can be better, and for more than 200 years, we’ve been helping our customers plan and prepare for their financial futures.
The role: Within our Customer Services function we are focused on making sure our customers, through our external partners are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring we are operationally efficient and show integrity with every decision we take. As a department we care, take personal responsibility, and try to do the right thing at all times.
You will use your administrative skills to oversee and coordinate Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), ensuring requests are identified, escalated and supported through to completion, while maintaining regulatory compliance, managing stakeholder engagement and supporting delivery within GDPR timeframes. From an oversight and governance perspective, you will ensure the business can respond to DSARs effectively rather than fulfil them directly.
What We’re Looking For:
- Broad knowledge of financial services, particularly Life and Pensions and an understanding of business operations
- Ability to apply appropriate processes and controls to ensure activity completed on time and to agreed standards
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills, including prioritisation, decision making, and appropriate escalation
- Effective management of stakeholders on impact timescales and customer outcomes
- Ideally have General Understanding of GDPR Act and Data Subject Rights
We want to hire the whole version of you. We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you. If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best. We’re reviewing applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out.
