We’re building a high-performing, forward-thinking team with a fresh structure, modern cloud-based technologies like Microsoft Fabric, and a clear focus on delivering business impact. Whether you’re passionate about data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, or automation, you’ll be joining a team where your ideas will shape the future of healthcare logistics and pharmacy services in the UK.
You’ll be empowered to make a real difference, working on meaningful projects that improve decision-making, drive efficiency, and help our colleagues and customers thrive.
About the Role:
As Data Management Analyst, you will play a key role in strengthening the quality, reliability, and governance of data across Phoenix UK—ensuring that trusted data underpins our critical reporting, operational processes, and strategic decision-making.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving data standardisation, improving accuracy, and helping to reduce turnaround times by ensuring data is consistently fit for purpose and readily accessible.
You’ll work closely with both business and IT teams to embed data governance best practices, resolve data quality issues, and support the development of a robust data management framework that builds confidence in our data assets and enables data-led transformation across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help create and embed a culture of strong data governance, ensuring robust processes and tight control over data changes.
- Contribute to the development of Phoenix UK\’s master data strategy, ensuring reporting and insights are built on solid master and reference data foundations.
- Develop, implement, and manage Microsoft Purview solutions to enhance data governance, cataloguing, and lineage tracking.
- Support the implementation of data management platforms to improve data quality and strengthen Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities.
- Play a key role in data-led initiatives and project delivery across business systems and teams.
- Own the development and ongoing management of enterprise data glossaries, establishing clear and consistent data definitions across the organisation.
- Respond to internal customer queries, data challenges, and change requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Proactively communicate data issues and risks to relevant stakeholders, promoting transparency and resolution.
- Collaborate with IT and risk teams to ensure data security and privacy, maintaining compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent communicator with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building strong relationships across the organisation.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve data quality issues, including inconsistencies, duplicates, and formatting errors.
- Detail-oriented and analytical, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Solid experience in data governance, data management, or a related discipline, ideally within a complex business environment.
- Familiarity with data management and data cataloguing tools, such as Microsoft Purview or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations, including GDPR and related compliance requirements.
