Location and flexible working: Edinburgh, Birmingham or Telford. All our roles are open to part‑time, job‑share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

Job Type: 12 Month Fixed Term

We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group for a Third Party Oversight & Regulatory Change Manager to join our Risk function in Pensions & Savings.

The role: You will be responsible for the ongoing management and 1st line risk oversight of the Third Party and Regulatory Change Frameworks and Policies within our Pensions & Savings division, leading all activity across the Trading Units and Change Teams, ensuring the process operates effectively with the right level of Control, Governance and Customer Outcomes. You will work very closely with all Pension & Saving Business teams and Group Procurement and Partnership Management (GPPM) to ensure the Group Third Party Policy and Framework is applied effectively and we remain compliant.

You will also work across several business areas, including Trading Channels, Group Regulatory Change, Commercial, Change and Risk teams to ensure regulatory publications impacting Pensions & Savings are identified and correctly interpreted, with the right plan of activity, reporting and governance in place with key stakeholders across Phoenix Group to enable compliance in line with expected regulatory timelines.

This is an ideal role for you if you have experience in the Third Party and Regulatory environment and enjoy working with Change, Risk, Procurement and Proposition teams, leading, and driving activity to ensure end to end processes are operating effectively with the right level of control and support across multiple business areas, challenging where required to ensure customers receive quality outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong Finance Services industry experience, ideally in the Pensions & Savings sector, demonstrating a good awareness of the regulatory environment, third party and change processes.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple business areas, building collaborative and close working relationships with an appropriate level of influence and challenge where required.
  • Strong judgement and reasoning skills, with the ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders to tight deadlines.
  • Ideally have a relevant professional qualification or willingness to work towards.
