Our client, a well-regarded independent insurance brokerage based in London, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for spearheading the development of new commercial insurance business and actively driving growth within the organisation.

Your primary focus will be building strong, lasting relationships with clients, prospects, and introducers through face-to-face meetings, telephone, and virtual communication platforms like Teams. You will manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to closure, while identifying cross-selling opportunities within existing client portfolios.

The role offers flexibility through hybrid working arrangements and requires a proactive, confident approach to sourcing new business across various trades such as Construction, Property Owners, Hospitality, Retail, Leisure, and Manufacturing. You will handle a range of insurance classes including Property, Employers' and Public Liability, Commercial Combined, PI, D&O, Fleet, and Cyber, targeting clients with GWP in the £10-50k range, with occasional larger accounts.

Whether you prefer a pure sales focus or a client retention and servicing role, this position provides scope for both paths, with opportunities to place risk directly into the market and manage client accounts comprehensively.
