Hunter / Net New business role
Location: UK - fully remote
Salary: £80-100k + Double OTE
PGS are delighted to have been retained by a leading global ECM solutions provider for the hiring of an Account Executive specifically focusing on the Public Sector in the UK. The role is fully remote with travel to clients and is a complete hunter / Net new logo role. This role is about building relationships from scratch, developing new opportunities, and consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets. Candidates must be UK based and fully eligible to work in the UK.
Skills Required:
- Experience in Software / SaaS sales specifically into Public sector
- Experience as an Account Executive or Account Manager focused on Net New Logo acquisition (Hunter).
- Proficient in opportunity management and account planning tools
- Experience in lead generation and prospecting; whilst there are SDRs, you will be expected to do your own lead generation.
- Strong ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage work independently to completion
- Strong collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Good negotiating and influencing skills
- Must be in the UK and eligible to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive sales plan (Go-to-market) to meet and exceed quota - New logo acquisition in the Public Sector
- Proactively initiate contact with potential customers and partners on a regular basis to develop, maintain and expand business relationships.
- Collaborate with all available company resources to develop and maintain pipeline
- Partner with sales solution engineers in the development of software demonstrations for customers and potential customers; actively contribute and participate in software demonstration
- Engage company specialists and support resources as needed to advance opportunities
- Assist with determining the viability of Request for Proposal (RFP) requests and directly influence the appropriate development of the response
- Attend and actively contribute to trade shows
