Phoenix Garden Buildings Ltd have been creating bespoke quality timber garden buildings since 2012. All our buildings are designed and manufactured by hand within our workshop in Ferrybridge, Pontefract. Our buildings are supplied across England and Wales, where we have gained an excellent reputation as one of the leading garden building suppliers in the UK.
Due to expansion, we have a new hands-on role for a confident and hardworking team leader to oversee the production and assembly of our joinery production. An excellent opportunity to join our small and friendly factory-based team.
What are we looking for:

- Experienced in the manufacture of Timber Doors and Windows.
- Flexible to working occasional Saturdays and overtime during peak production times.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Contribute to the production and assembly of all types of timber buildings, from small tool stores to large bespoke designs.
- Using hand tools, power tools, machinery including air guns, crosscuts and panel saws, jigsaws and more. Additional training will be provided.
- Assembly of timber framed sections.
- Fitting and glazing of doors and windows.
- Assisting with other elements of the build process where required.
- Follow all Health and safety requirements.
Further details:
- Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.00pm, Fridays 7.30am - 2.00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
- This is a factory-based role; however, there may be occasions where you may be required to assist with the delivery and installation teams.
- Competitive pay £28,000 - £35,000 pa dependant on experience.
- 28 days holidays including bank holidays.
- Contributory pension scheme.
