Responsible for supporting residents in a women‑only residential community focused on drug and alcohol recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Organise and facilitate the evening running of the therapeutic community in the residential setting.
- Co‑ordinate the service users’ tasks and activities.
- Provide waking night cover, monitoring and minimising risk.
- Assist residents in preparing for the daily programme and activities.
- Monitor and administer medication to service users.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Understanding of the complex issues presented by individuals within drug and alcohol recovery.
- Ability to be innovative and flexible to meet service needs.
- Effective collaboration with multi‑agencies while maintaining the service’s reputation.
- Prior experience is desirable but not essential; motivation, willingness to learn, and compassion are valued.
Full‑time role, approximately 37.5 hours per week, with a 4‑week rolling night shift schedule. Operational requirement: the role is restricted to female candidates as per ACAS guidance.
