Phoenix Futures at Sheffield Family Service have an exciting opportunity for a new role as Family Pathways Manager!
Previous experience is desirable, however not essential.
Support Workers come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and you may have the skills required.
We are seeking dedicated individuals, based on your values, willingness to learn new skills and the compassion to deliver the best service possible to the people that use our services.
The Role
As a Family Pathways Manager, you will support people at Sheffield Family Service to reach their goals and change their lives for the better.
The role is full time 37.5 hours per week.
You will be part of a passionate and skilled team, contributing to the provision of tailored interventions and recovery approaches.
About You
To join us as a Family Pathways Manager, you will need
- Relevant experience of working in health and social care, ideally within the field of problematic substance use, mental health or another comparable field
- Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service
- Evidence of managing a busy caseload or tasks and excellent organisational skills
- To be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and be familiar with database management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understand complex issues presented by people entering residential
- Determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn
- Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support

- The Service
Phoenix Futures' National Specialist Family Service, England, is a unique recovery-based residential offering support for families:
- Parents can benefit from treatment to address their drug and alcohol use and develop their parenting skills whilst remaining the primary carers for their children.
- Children (up to age 10) live on-site with their parents (single parents, couples or pregnant women).
- Children have their development supported and monitored in our OFSTED registered nursery rated ‘Outstanding'.
- Children of school age are supported to access local schools by our trained and experienced staff in service.
The service is a homely family environment in a suburban part of Sheffield with local amenities, parks and shops.
We provide a safe environment, empowering families to stay together, whilst focusing on recovery and working alongside local authorities, social care and community substance use services.
