We are looking for an organised and compassionate Care Co‑ordinator to join our Sheffield Family Service. This key role supports the daily running of a residential service, ensuring residents, their children and visiting professionals receive a high‑quality, well‑coordinated service. You will act as a central point of contact, combining administration, coordination and frontline support.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day‑to‑day administration and smooth running of the service office
  • Coordinate and book appointments for residents and external professionals
  • Maintain accurate diaries, records and communication systems
  • Act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors and professionals
  • Welcome visitors and complete ID and safeguarding checks
  • Support residents with day‑to‑day needs when they attend the office
  • Order and manage medication in line with procedures
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and information sharing
  • Support the delivery of care in line with organisational policies and safeguarding requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Highly organised with strong administrative skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality standards
  • Experience in a care, residential or support setting (desirable)
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) and databases
  • A proactive and reliable individual with a strong attention to detail
  • Someone who is compassionate, professional and committed to supporting vulnerable people
  • A team player who can also take initiative

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be eligible to work with vulnerable adults and children (appropriate checks will be carried out)
  • Flexibility required to meet the needs of the service
