An exciting part-time 15hr per week opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to fill the role of Service Coordinator, focusing on the social inclusion element of the Futures Together service in Chelmsford and surrounding areas of Mid Essex. Futures Together is a commissioned service combining the expertise of two Essex Phoenix Futures services – the Criminal Justice service and the Social Inclusion service. Our team is committed to providing support and social inclusion opportunities for people who use our services, and across Essex to make a positive impact.
As Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative activities and groups that complement our existing social inclusion initiatives, along with recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and peer mentors. You will collaborate closely with local communities, establishing relationships and supporting individuals to engage with the Futures Together team.
The role offers a work schedule of 15 hours per week, allowing for autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support. Role Purpose:- To support and develop our peer mentor, volunteers, and lead on implementing recovery and wellbeing focused activities within an allocated locality of Essex.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong and effective partnerships within the community to promote and embed the Futures Together service.
- To work in collaboration with the criminal justice element of the Futures Together service to support people with complex and multiple needs.
- Innovate, implement, and facilitate recovery and social inclusion groups within South and West Essex.
- To complete administrative tasks, including database maintenance and maintenance of accurate client information.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced service and be flexible to changes plans at short notice.
- Starting salary of £9,854.80 per annum, with the opportunity to access potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal.
- 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays pro-rata, increasing each year to a maximum of 30 days.
