As the RTN and Community Development Worker you will work alongside the Therapeutic Team responsible for the implementation, development and evaluation of the therapeutic programme, ensuring an effective and high-quality service is delivered. You will lead the delivery of Recovery through Nature in the Glasgow Residential Service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of Recovery through Nature (RTN) programmes for residents.
- Delivering, monitoring and reviewing RTN programmes; planning community activities; assessing risk and measuring outcomes including impact on social change, addressing inequalities, promoting empowerment and inclusion.
- Delivering therapeutic groups, activities and specialised interventions in accordance with the TC manual and the needs of the service.
- Collaborating with the Therapeutic Team to implement, develop and evaluate the therapeutic programme.
- Managing time and workload as a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with occasional weekend work for events and activities.

About You:
- Relevant experience of working in health and social care, ideally within the field of problematic substance use, mental health or another comparable field.
- Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service.
- S/NVQ 3 in Care or related field, or a Community Development Qualification or equivalent.
- Evidence of managing a busy caseload or tasks and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word; familiarity with database management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to understand complex issues presented by people entering abstinence-based residential settings.
- Determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support.
