Phoenix Futures is recruiting a Family Support Worker at HMP Pentonville to support service users and their families on their recovery journey. The role involves advocacy, signposting to agencies, and supporting through the last 12 weeks of sentence and 12 weeks after release.
Responsibilities
- Support service users and families in HMP Pentonville and the community.
- Advocate for service users, signpost and refer to agencies.
- Deliver psychosocial interventions with the Through the Gate team.
- Accompany prison leavers to community services and support engagement.
- Apply risk assessments and adhere to staffing protocols.
- Work occasional late shifts and weekends on a rota basis.
