We are looking for a passionate individual to work within the Care Team in our Glasgow Residential. You will be responsible for the evening and nights in the therapeutic programme, ensuring an effective and high-quality programme is delivered. You will be responsible for coordinating residents' tasks and activities, administering medication, conducting health and safety checks, and providing waking night cover, ensuring that risk is monitored and minimised. You will assist the residents to prepare for their daily programme and activities.
As a Night Care Worker, you will support individuals at night in the residential rehabilitation programme to achieve outcomes that help create long-term recovery. Using the Therapeutic Community “community as method” model, you will empower individuals, families, and communities to be confident about recovery. You will support the evening running of the therapeutic community, ensuring residents' needs are met and the best possible care is provided in an environment that promotes a culture of recovery in line with a recovery-oriented system of care and the Quality Principles. You will also be confident in delivering activities and specialised interventions in accordance with the TC manual and the needs of the service.
This is a part-time role working 25 hours per week, on a rota basis. Shifts are expected to be from 8pm to 8.30am and consist of 2 shifts per week.

About You:
- Relevant experience of working in health and social care, ideally within the field of substance use, mental health, or another comparable field
- Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service
- Excellent organisational skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and familiar with database management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of complex issues presented by people entering abstinence-based residential settings
- Determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn
- Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support
