Key Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the management and delivery of PEGL's network maintenance and repair activities through which PEGL ensures the condition of the distribution network is maintained to a level consistent with attainment of asset objectives including safety, efficiency and reliability.
- To lead and report on the delivery of Opex and Capex projects, and ensure the principal contractor completes relevant maintenance activities on time, to specified technical and quality standards and to budget in line with price control allowances whilst maintaining compliance with all associated legislation.
- To undertake monitoring and audit of safety, quality and productivity and implement improvements as necessary.
- Monitor the effectiveness of asset maintenance strategies and failure trends and make recommendations for change / corrective action where objectives are not being achieved.
- Develop and update procedures accordingly.
Essential Education:
- Engineering Degree Qualification / HND / HNC or equivalent.
Essential Experience:
- At least 5 years Engineering experience.
- Extensive experience delivering operational work programs.
- Full valid UK drivers licence.
