Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, maintenance (routine & non-routine), testing, service, repair, overhaul and replacement of:
- Gas network and customer pressure control / metering equipment and associated safety devices
- Remote telemetry monitoring systems
- Live gas operations employing safe systems of work
- Emergency response capability and undertaking out of hours standby works on a rota-based system.
- Undertaking plant / asset protection activities
Essential Qualifications:
- GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at Grade C or above
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 1 year hands-on experience of plant or mechanical maintenance OR Minimum 2 years working in an engineering environment
- Working in accordance with safe systems of work, procedures and processes.
