Key Responsibilities:
- Safely provide Meter Asset maintenance in line with PES standard operating procedures, regulated standards of service throughout the entire Phoenix Energy Licence area.
- Undertake after-hour standby duties as per the programmed rota.
- Undertake all gas work in line with ACS, IGEM and all other relevant standards, in a safe and productive manner.
- Provide updates on all work-related activities as required including documentation of all gas work undertaken and any unsafe situations encountered.
Essential Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths & English or equivalent qualifications.
Job skills, knowledge and abilities:
- Good verbal and written communication including relevant IT skills.
- A professional and flexible approach to work is required along with a full driving license.

We were established in 1996 to bring natural gas to the Greater Belfast area of Northern Ireland, where there was previously no natural gas distribution network. Since 1996 local, national and international partnerships have delivered an investment of over £500 million into the Northern Ireland economy and the wider natural gas industry now provides employment to over 2,500 people. We continue to invest in infrastructure that currently has in excess of 256,000 domestic and business customers connected, and continues to grow at around 8,000 new customers each year.
