Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly reviewing the monitoring data from the Hybrid Heat Pump Programme to identify issues as they arise and prepare regular updates for key internal and external stakeholders including the Department for the Economy and the Utility Regulator.
  • Undertaking in-depth analysis of the performance of the installed hybrid heat pumps to support the drafting of detailed operational reporting and facilitating the independent review of the results by an independent academic evaluator.
  • Engaging with, and challenging, operational and strategic energy transition colleagues and provide research driven and analytical informed perspectives on the issues, challenges, and opportunities relevant to advancing low carbon heat goals.
  • Monitor low carbon heat related public policy developments in Northern Ireland, Ireland, the UK and across Europe to develop insights that empower the business to act decisively in a rapidly changing industry.
  • Regular participation in multidisciplinary collaborative forums, featuring internal and external partners to progress the successful delivery of low carbon heat workstreams including joint academic/industry research projects.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Educated to degree level.
Essential Experience:
  • Three years’ experience working in either a data analyst role, a research role, an economist role, a government policy/public affairs role or equivalent.
  • Strong qualitative & analytical skills, along with the ability to communicate complex analysis.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering succinct, structured, written briefings.
