Great opportunity to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Spalding, Lincolnshire. We are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work in Spalding.
Pay Rates: £17.50 to £23.05 per hour.
Shift Information: This is a full-time ongoing role with:
- Start times between 01:00 - 06:00
- PM shifts also available
- Weekday and weekend work available
- Regular day and night shifts
- Refrigerated trailer work
- UK-wide deliveries and collections
Your Time at Work: As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will operate refrigerated vehicles and carry out deliveries and collections of chilled products across the UK. Drivers will be expected to:
- Complete vehicle checks
- Ensure loads are secured correctly
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and safety at all times
Our Ideal Driver Will:
- Have excellent communication and timekeeping skills
- Be flexible and reliable
- Understand and comply with Driver Hours and WTD regulations
- Be confident completing vehicle safety checks and reporting defects correctly
- Follow all site health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months UK Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, CD, TT endorsements)
- Driver assessment required
- Medical check may be required
